YFS401 Water Flow Sensor

60.00

The YF-S401 Water Flow Sensor measures the rate of liquid flowing through it. It consists of a plastic valve body, flow rotor, and hall effect sensor. Typically used at the inlet end, it detects the amount of flow by rotating a magnetic rotor as liquid passes through. The hall effect sensor outputs a pulse width signal corresponding to the flow rate, which can be monitored by connecting it to a microcontroller. This allows control of devices like coffee makers, sprinklers, or other water systems based on flow rate.
